Insurance & Financing
We know how much thought goes into choosing dental insurance, and we respect that it’s part of how many of our patients plan for their care. Our goal is to make sure that investment works as hard as possible for you — while making sure insurance never becomes the reason your treatment gets delayed, downgraded, or denied.
How We Handle Insurance
As a courtesy to our patients, we’re happy to file claims with your insurance company on your behalf and help you understand what they cover. We’ll walk you through your benefits, let you know what to expect, and take the paperwork off your plate.
Comprehensive Dental Care operates as a fee-for-service practice, which means your treatment plan is built around what’s right for your smile — not around what a particular insurance plan is willing to approve.
You’re always welcome to use your out-of-network benefits, and we’ll help you submit for reimbursement wherever possible.
Why We Practice This Way
Dental insurance was never designed to cover the full cost of quality care most plans were built decades ago with coverage caps that haven’t kept pace with modern dentistry. We’ve found that when insurance companies are the ones approving treatment, patients can face delays, preauthorization requirements, or coverage limits that have nothing to do with what their mouth actually needs.
By working directly with you instead of through an insurance network, we’re able to:
- Recommend the treatment that’s genuinely best for your long-term oral health, not just what’s pre-approved
- Move forward with care on your timeline, without waiting on preauthorization
- Spend your appointment time focused on you, not on insurance paperwork
- Keep our relationship with you at the center of every decision
We know this is a different way of thinking about dental payment, and we’re always glad to talk it through with you at your visit.
Payment Options
We accept:
- Cash
- Personal checks
- Major credit cards
Payment is collected at the time of service. Before any treatment begins, our team will review the full cost with you so there are never any surprises, and if you have insurance, we’ll let you know what to expect back from your provider.
Financing Options
Dental care can be a big investment, especially for larger needs like dentures, implants, or urgent treatment. We offer financing options to help make care more manageable.
